Buy us something from our amazon wish list

Online shopping has become so pervasive that we realized it's a great way to invite the community to get involved!  You'll find books that we love and program materials that we're longing for.  It's a great way to invest in something that not only interests us, but also interests you.  Simply go to our Wish List and click on the topic in the left column that interests you the most.

If you are using the Amazon app on a mobile device, click on the menu (i.e. the three horizontal bars) and click on "Your Lists."  Then click on "See all lists" and click the tab that says "Find a List or Registry."  Enter "Barneveld Public Library" in the search box and click on the "Find a List" button.

Volunteer

We always need help with projects - both ongoing and one-time events.  Please contact the library if you are interested in volunteering.

Friends of the Barneveld Library

The Friends of the Barneveld Library meet the second Tuesday of most months at 6:30 pm.  All are welcome to attend.

The Friends of the Barneveld Library is a 501(c)3 non-profit on a mission to support the Library and assist in expanding their services.  Friends volunteer their time to organize fundraisers, help during events, and assist in a variety of ways to help the library function to its fullest potential.  Contact the Library for more information.

Recent funding:

  • 2016 fundraising efforts going to support library programs and purchase over 500 new children's books
  • 2013 - 2015 all fundraising efforts went toward the Library Building Fund
  • 2012 fundraising efforts were used to match the Libri Foundation Books for Children Grant – helping enhance the children’s collection by purchasing over $1000 in wonderful new books.

Board of trustees

The Library Board of Trustees usually meet the third Wednesday of the month at 7 pm at the library.  All are welcome to attend.

The Library Board of Trustees participate as a member of a team to protect and advance the interests of the broader community by effectively governing the operations and promoting the development of the local public library.  For more information about the role of a library trustee, visit Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
